International children and youth art competition "Prague's water-colours"

This program is intended for 7 days and 6 nights.  The program consist of competitive and excursion parts. 

Price - 350 euro per person.

Competitive part: participant of the competition have to take part in a creative constest, that consist of 3 stages.  
Exursion part:

  • Walk tour through the historical center of Prague 
  • Auqapark 
  • Prague's Zoo 
  • Visit to Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad) 
  • Visit to Plzen 
  • Familiarization visit to the Institute of design and art of West-Czech University of Plzen.
  • Visit to Vysehrad

1 day

Arrival 
14.00. – 15.00. lunch
15.30. Departure to the excursion 
16.00. – 19.00. 3-hours excursion "Meeting the Medieval Prague".
Excursion starts ad the Strahov monastery, Then you will take a walk towards the Hradcany square, framed by barocco facades, which openes the enter to the Prague Castle, political and historical center of a town, Presidential residence. Here you will see the the monumental interiors of a St. Vittus, elegant king castle. After that wou will walk along the Charles Bridge, a real symbol of Prague, with its baroque scilptures. You will visit the Ild town square with its chiming clocks.  
20.00-21.00. Dinner 
21.00. wellcome evening for the perticipants. 

2 day

09.00. – 10.00. departure to the place of contest (drawing of building)
10.00-14.00. contest. Open air work
14.30. – 15.30. lunch
15.30. -16.30. departure to the aquapark
16.30. – 18.30. Aquapark 
Water intertainment lovers will enjoy 2 tobogans - 108 and 99 meters, 16 meters hill, adrenaline spacebowl. More relaxing types will be able to rest in the relaxing pool with water massage, an island, wild river and boiling waves.

3 day

09.00. – 13.30. Zoo
The Prague zoo is one of the brigtest sights of a town without being an architectural monument. This is a huge terrain, divided to 2 layers, upper and lower. Flora and fauna of every continent and corner of the planet is represented here, in Prague zoo. (506 mammals of 113 kinds, 632 birds of 159 kinds, 117 reptiles of 34 kinds).

10.30. – 11.30. Familiarization to the Institute of design and art of the West-Czech University
11.30. – 12.00. prepare to the drawing
 12.00. – 13.30. contest. Sketch work.

15.00. – 16.00. excursion through the Plzen 
16.00. – 17.00. meeting with the jury 
17.00 – 18.30. return to Prague

5 day

08.30. – 12.00. departure to the Karlovy Vary 
12.00. – 13.30. excursion through the Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad)
You will get the opportunity to walk the famous fairly tale rtown-resort, which was founded in XIV century by the imperator Charles IV after his hunting in this area. The town is known by its 12 hot mineral springs, which you will be able to taste by your own.  
14.00-15.00 lunch
15.00-18.00 free time 
During the free time you can visit special Karlovy Vary cosmetics shops, taste famous Kolonada wafers and to soak in the thermal pool. 
18.00. – 20.30. return to Prague 
20.30. – 21.30. dinner

7 day

09.00. breakfast 
10.00. excursion to the Vysehrad  
Vysehrad fortress is considered to be a cradle of the Czech Republic. According to the legend. exactly from this place princess Libuse looked at the nice view on Vltava valley predicted the foundation of a great kingdom and it's capital town. 
Departure.

*Changes or alterations in the program are possivle. Final version of the program will be specified with every collective individually.  

Competitive part.

Competition consist of 3 stages:

  1. home work (picture, that was bring to the contest and was prepared at home)
  2. Open air work (4 hours work with the possibility to finish at the hotel) 
  3. sketch work (1,5 hours)

Jury consist of the teachers of Design and Art Institute of the West-Czech University and the representatives of the Painters assosiation of the Plzen region. 

Awarding: 

Jury will define a winner on each stage of the constest and an absolute winner. Each participant will get a diploma and souvenirs. The best pictures will be exposed in one of prague art galleries.   

Price includes:

- festival fee,
- accomodation
- 3х meal a day (exept drinks)
- transport service after arrival 

 

Price does not include:

- Transfer to Prague. 
- Medical insurance 
-Visa to the Czech Republic (for non shengencountries).
